Banana Sandwich recipe – What ??? Really !

Yes. ! I spelled right. Even I thought the same when my husband introduced Banana Sandwich to me. My husband had prepared the banana sandwich for me for the first time and it was sooooo yummm.

When you and your family eats something called ‘Banana Sandwich’ regularly, with relish, it’s hard to imagine there are people elsewhere who have never even heard of it, and also there are people who have never had a banana sandwich.

Banana Sandwich recipe – with detailed description with the photos. Banana is a powerhouse of nutrients and having high fibre content. Like the other sandwiches even the Banana Sandwich is easy, quick, and delicious breakfast or snack recipe. It can be a great option for busy weekday mornings. It will be so delicious that everyone will love it.

Banana has a sweet and sour taste. According to Ayurveda, the sweet taste is said to bring about a sense of heaviness but the sour taste is known to stimulate the digestive juices, thereby supporting digestion and helping in building up metabolism.

An instant energy booster, banana is one fruit which is commonly available across the globe. So in India,Bananas grow in many states of the South India, and are so commonplace on our kitchen counters. However Banana is given much importance because various regional cuisines, and also the desserts made using bananas. Banana payasam (kheer), Shira (Rava kesari with banana), Banana Paniyaram, and many more.

However, everybody has a different ways of preparing the banana sandwich. Some people use peanut butter instead of ghee, and honey can be used in place of sugar. It depends on your taste and you can modify it the way you want it to be.

So the stack of Banana sandwich can be absolutely irresistible. It’s :

Crispy on outside,

Warm and soft from inside,

Easy and quick recipe,

Banana Sandwich Recipe

Banana Sandwich Recipe – A Bliss
Banana Sandwich is easy, quick, and delicious breakfast or snack recipe. 
Course Breakfast, Snacks

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana
  • 4 Bread Slices
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Sugar

Notes

  1. Take one well ripen Banana, peel it and slice it. 
  2. Take the Bread slices and spread thin layer of ghee on all the slices on one side. 
  3. Put the Banana slices on the two bread slices. 
  4. Sprinkle some sugar on it. Just to give the sweet taste. You can use honey also if you don’t want to add sugar. 
  5. Then cover it with other ghee applied bread slice. 
  6. Apply a little ghee on both sides and roast on a pan till they get light golden brown on both sides. 
  7. Give a gentle press while roasting, so that banana, ghee and sugar will be well merged with the bread. 
  8. Serve hot, it will be delicious. 

HOW TO MAKE BANANA SANDWICH RECIPE WITH PHOTOS:

  1. Take one well ripen Banana, peel it and slice it.

Tips & Variation:

  1. Firstly, Use fresh bread for the added taste.
  2. Second thing is use well ripen banana.
  3. Instead of sugar you can use honey as per your taste.
  4. Cinnamon powder can also be sprinkled on the banana slices while preparing the banana sandwich.
