Masala Chai | Masala Tea from Homemade Tea Masala powder – with step by step photos, description and video of the recipe is here. A cup of hot Masala chai for a cold morning or a rainy evening is a bliss. . Masala Tea or Masala Chai popularly known in India. It is believed to be keep our body warm during the cold seasons as it contains the hot Indian spices like pepper, cinnamon, ginger etc.

Masala Tea

This aromatic spiced tea is surely going to refresh our mood in the morning. When there are guests or friends coming to house then there should be cup of good tea or coffee should be there during the conversation. I personally like having tea/chai instead of coffee. Many Indians day starts with a cup of chai. . and we have tea in the morning and evening time preferably. also many people get headache if they don’t drink tea. Tea can be so addicting.

Masala Tea is a perfect combination of spicy, sweet beverage made using milk, or I can say it as milk tea. If you are allergic to diary products then consider using the alternate for the milk.

Masala tea powder can be prepared very easily using the spices available in Indian Kitchen. The hot spices like ginger, cinnamon, pepper, cardamom are used to prepare masala powder. You can prepare them in bulk and store in an airtight container for later use.
