Mango Papad | Tasty Mango Candy | Aam ka papad – with step by step photos, description and video of the recipe is here. This tangy, sweet mango bars are made from ripe mango pulp. It is a must try recipe during mango season. Although the recipe is simple and easy to make, but time consuming because it has to be sun-dried. These mango candy or small bites of mango are sure to be enjoyed by all people. Kids will love this mango candy.

Mango Papad

Firstly, this mouth watering mango papad is prepared from only 3 ingredients. Mango pulp, sugar and cardamom added flavour. Also amount of sugar to be added depends on the sweetness of mango. So you can vary the amount of sugar as per your choice.

Mango Papad

Mango Papad | Tasty Mango Candy

Tangy, sweet mango bars are made from ripe mango pulp. It is a must try recipe during mango season.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cup Mango chopped
  • 2 Cardamom
  • 3 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Ghee for greasing the plate

Instructions
 

  • In a mixi jar add 1. 5 cup of chopped ripe mango. 
  • Add 2 cardamom (peeled).
  • Also add 3 tsp of sugar. 
  • Blend it into a smooth paste. 
  • Add mango puree in a pan. 
  • Stir continuously on a low flame until it thickens. 
  • Once it thickens, switch off the flame.
  • Grease the plate with little ghee. 
  • Transfer to the greased plate. 
  • Spread evenly. 
  • Keep in the sunlight for 2 days or until it gets dried.
  • Once it is dried, after 2 days. Remove from the sides. 
  • Cut it into desired shape or size.
  • You can roll it and keep, or make slices. It's your choice. 
  • Mango Candy or Mango papad is ready.

  1. firstly, adding sugar is depends on the sweetness of mango.
  2. Grease the plate with generous amount of Ghee.
  3. Make sure you spread the mango pulp on the plate evenly.
  4. Sun – drying time varies based on the climate.
  5. Use non-fibrous mango for preparing this.
  6. you can prepare in big batches and store it for months.
  7. Same way we can prepare roll ups of raw mango, apple, plum, etc.,
