Baby Corn Manchurian Recipe | How to make Dry Baby Corn Manchurian at home – with step by step photos, description and video of the recipe. This is one of the Super delicious and tasty recipe from Indo-chinese cuisine. Baby Corn Manchurian dry recipe has come in the recent days. And it will be tasty as Gobi Manchurian. But the preparation will vary. But I have been a big fan of Gobi Manchurian.

Baby corn Manchurian

I have always tasted the Baby corn Manchurian in the restaurants but wanted to try at home and finally I prepared and taste was awesome so thought to put it in blog. Usually I don’t make this spicy as my son also likes this. He is too young to eat spicy food. You can adjust the spice based on your taste.

Once you learn how to make sauce for Manchurian then you can prepare Manchurian of any vegetable of your choice. In this Baby corn Manchurian recipe, Baby corn pieces are dipped into the batter and then deep fried in oil till they are crispy and then well coated in sauce mainly contains of ginger garlic paste, soy sauce, tomato sauce, capsicum and onion. Soy sauce, Tomato sauce and ginger garlic paste gives most of the flavor to the dish.

Baby corn Manchurian

Baby Corn Manchurian Recipe | How to make Dry Baby Corn Manchurian at home is mostly goes well as a starter or as a side dish along with Veg fried rice or Hakka noodles. You can also prepare it as a gravy. but here I have given the recipe of Baby corn Manchurian Dry. If you want to make the Manchurian gravy recipe then you have to add corn starch or corn flour mixed in water while preparing the sauce.

Baby corn Manchurian takes less time than Gobi Manchurian as blanching step is not required for Baby corn. And even I tried the Baby corn golden fry which is also makes a good starter. When I say Baby corn golden fry which makes me to remember a restaurant called Sangeetha in Chennai where I had the best Baby corn golden fry ever. But in Bangalore many restaurants doesn’t have it in their menu. 🙁  No worries now I can prepare myself.

Then coming to the serving part, this Indo chinese starter pairs very well with Noodles, Veg Fried rice, Schezwan Fried rice and many people like to have along with naan. And also it is a good starter.

Tips & Variation:

  1. Do not keep fried baby corn for long time, you will not get the crunchy taste of it.
  2. While adding the soy sauce, minimize the flame.
  3. You can also put little soy sauce while preparing the batter to get color.
  4. You can add more red chilli powder or pepper to increase spice.
  5. I have not used Vinegar in my recipe, it can be added while preparing the sauce.
