Palak chakli | Palak murukku recipe | How to make Spinach Murukku – with step by step photos, description and video of the recipe is here. Palak Chakli or Spinach Murukku is an excellent variation from the usual murukku or chakli.

Firstly, Palak Chakli is an instant snack recipe which you can prepare for evening tea or for the kids snacks. Adding the Palak or Spinach to the Murukku makes it delicious and a little varied taste from the usual chakli. Although we add Palak puree in this, Im not willing say this is a healthy snack because it is deep fried in oil. You can consider baking it for more healthier version of this. I have also shared the Instant chakli or Crispy Murukku recipe.

Moreover, this Murukku is an easiest snack recipe, as you don’t need to soak the rice or dal for preparing this. Only thing is you should have the store bought Rice flour. I have used very minimum ingredients to prepare this delicious and mouthwatering snack. There are many variation of Murukku recipes. If you vary the quantity of each flour then the taste of the murukku varies.

Furthermore, You can also add little quantity of urad dal flour along with Rice flour and roasted gram flour. Also adding a teaspoon of butter to the flour while mixing makes it more delicious.

Back to the memories, love for the Palak chakli started during my college days. Palak Chakli is easily available in most of the supermarkets. But if you can prepare the Spinach murukku at home that is more healthier compare to the ones brought from shops.

Before going to the recipe, I would like to highlight some of the other recipes here.
