Banana Walnut Lassi | Indian Yogurt Drink | Summer drink – with step by step photos, description, and video of the recipe is here. It’s an easy, healthy, filling Lassi prepared very quickly by blending ripened banana, walnut and curd.
Lassi’s are quite popular in Punjab and north India. moreover Lassi means there are many variations based on the ingredients, sweetened or salted. Usually, in most of the restaurants and households lassi is served after the meal.
Lassi is a great drink to lower the body heat during summer. Instead of the plain lassi, here I’m trying the variation. Adding Banana and walnut along with the curd/yogurt while preparing lassi makes it creamy, also its a great feast during fasting. It can be had during Navaratri fasting.

Banana Walnut Lassi
Ingredients
- 1 Banana Ripened
- 1/4 cup Walnut
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
- Salt generous pinch
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1.5 cup Curd/Yogurt
Instructions
- Remove the peel of the banana.
- Chop it into pieces.
- Put it into the mixi jar.
- Also add 1/4 cup walnut.
- And add 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder. add a pinch of salt for the taste.
- add 1 tsp of sugar. or choice of your sweetener.
- Blend it without adding water.
- After blending, add 1 to 1.5 cup of Curd/yogurt.
- Blend it again for 5 seconds.
- Transfer it to the serving glass.
- Banana Walnut Lassi is ready to serve. You can serve this chilled if you like.

HOW TO MAKE BANANA WALNUT LASSI WITH STEP BY STEP PHOTOS :

TIPS & VARIATION :
- Firstly, you can use either yogurt or curd, based on your choice.
- Same way even the sweetener also you can replace the sugar with honey or stevia.
- You can also try adding soaked and peeled almonds.
- Instead of Banana, you can add any other fruit like mango, strawberry, or blueberry etc.
