- 2 TBSP Oil
- 7-8 Bread crumbled
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1/2 tsp Jeera powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 TBSP Coriander leaves chopped
- Salt as required
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Ghee
You can add peanuts, Green peas or capsicum for taste variation.
Adding ghee is entirely optional. but it enhances the taste.
1. Crumble the bread slices.
2. Chop the vegetables and keep aside.
3. Take a pan, add oil and heat it.
4. Once the oil is heated add chopped green chilli and onion and saute well.
5. Then add chopped tomato and saute.
6. Add Jeera powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder.
7. Then add the crumbled bread, salt and sugar.
8. Mix well with all the ingredients.
9. Garnish with the coriander leaves. also sprinkle some ghee for the taste. 10. Bread upma is ready to serve.

Keep the ingredients ready, take a pan and heat the oil.
Once the oil is heated add chopped green chilli.
Add chopped onion.
Add chopped tomato.
Add Jeera powder.
Add Coriander powder.
Add Turmeric powder.
Then add the Bread crumbs to it. Mix well.
Add required salt and sugar.
Add little ghee for the taste (it is entirely optional).
Garnish with Coriander leaves.
Serve Bread Upma hot.
