“Mother is born when the child is born”.
Some of us are blessed with a perfect life that begins with a happy childhood, great parents, good academics, decent health, loving partner followed by lovely children and so on…
For some of us, life is nothing but a battlefield upon which we have fell innumerable times and got up with permanent scars.
Same life has blessed me with the greatest gift, ‘the gift of today’, is Mom. This very moment, I comfortably seated to write this phase of my life as a mom…!
For everyone it’s a special day. In India May 2nd Sunday is celebrated as Mother’s day.
My mom held me in her stomach for 9 months, she watched her feet swell, she struggled to climb stairs, she got breathless quick, she suffered many sleepless nights and kick inside her stomach, She loved me despite what I have done to her. She struggled for me.
I remember one sentence… A human body can bear only up to 45 del (unit) of pain, but at the time of giving birth a woman feels up to 57 Del (unit) of pain… this is similar to 20 bones getting fractured at a time. No one can realise how much she struggled for us.
One fine day, she gave birth to me. God sent me to the arms of an angel. An angel whose arms are always open when I need a hug, whose heart always understands when I need a friend.
Whenever I fell down, she lifted me up. An angel whose strength and love guides us. A mother is someone who will always have love for you, even when you set the carpet on fire. She will always support you when you need it. She will always protect you, guide you and forgive you.
While most of us take our mom for granted, there are people who have never seen theirs. very sad right?
All the times I didn’t thank mom because I was too young or too busy or just didn’t find the words, today I thank her for all you have done for me. Now I realise more and more everything she did, everything she gave, every time she supported and every time she stand for…. I love you Mom and Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
So let’s take this opportunity to thank our Mom’s….!
Take time to think what you could give her in return for all that she’s given you all these years…
Possibly nothing equals her love, affection… but at least a Hug, a bunch of flowers or a warm kiss.
I thank God for giving me such a wonderful mother…
Dear ‘Amma’ you will always and forever be the first woman I have ever loved this much.
Happy Mother’s day to all the wonderful Mom’s.. Keep rocking You are doing a wonderful job. 🙂
