I had finished all cooking things early that day and got ready 15 minutes before the usual time. Booked the share taxi and it arrived on time. A girl was there in the taxi, she was my co-passenger. Casually I said ‘Hi’ to her making myself comfortable in the back seat. Though I haven’t met her earlier, but her smiling face made me to talk with her.
We both started chatting, and the taxi was moving very slowly because of the traffic as it was peak office hours. I got to know she was from Hyderabad, she asked me whether I visited Hyderabad anytime? Then I explained her about our (me and my husband) trip to Hyderabad.
First Flight Journey…
From Goa we were going to Hyderabad, early morning we checked out from the hotel. It was our first journey together in Flight…! I can’t forget this trip ever in my life because it my first flight journey.
We landed in Hyderabad, reached the hotel which we had booked earlier. Evening time we headed towards Hussain Sagar Lake. Those speed boats, motor boating facilities have made it easy to reach Buddha statue in the middle of the lake. As we had travelled on the last but one boat we had to make it faster, very less time was there with us. We roamed there and took some photographs and returned.
By the time we returned, our nose was dragged us towards Biryani counter. Hyderabad is famous for biryani right… Without having biryani our trip wouldn’t be completed. On the banks of Hussain Sagar Lake there were hotels. We had Biryani there. Biryani was so yummy… 🙂 As Christmas was around the corner, all places were decorated with lightings, Christmas tree and Santa statue.
Next day evening we had been to Charminar, nicely illuminated pillars of Charminar were looking awesome. Pedestrian path around the monument was under implementation.
After that we went to famous Laad Baazar, colourful shopping centre of the old city, tucked away in one of the streets. Which is famous for bridal wear, Pearls, traditional Hyderabad glass and stone studded bangles. I also bought two set of bangles.
Time couldn’t permit us to visit many more places like Birla Mandir, Golconda Fort and many more. Hoping to visit those places in our next trip.
I didn’t realize while chatting with her, I was nearer to office, told ‘bye’ to her and got down from taxi.
You guys must be having many memories Hyderabad trip… want to share? Please write in comments… I would love to know.
Stay tuned for more… 🙂
