Though it is important to have a baby soon. Once you have a baby you can’t be a carefree human being like earlier. You can’t enjoy the way you used to be. You will have extra responsibilities before you to be taken care. You will really enjoy your life in a different way once the baby arrives. You will experience the meaning of ‘Unconditional love’. Similarly it is important to enjoy your life. These days never going to come back in your lifetime. Once the baby arrives you can’t spend quality time with your husband, family and friends. So never miss these things to do before your baby arrives.
Limit the caffeine – consuming too much caffeine may cause miscarriages, also it’s not good for baby’s development. Maximum recommended intake of caffeine per day should not be more than 200mg from all the sources.
Stop smoking both you and your partner – smoking increases the risk of miscarriage.
Get general health check-up done – many experts recommend booking a pre-pregnancy check-up at your ob-gyn at least before three months before you plan to start trying.
Get fit and healthy – which doesn’t mean losing weight, don’t get confused. Being fit and healthy is a great start for healthy conception and labor.
Start taking vitamin supplements – whatever you eat during pregnancy which directly linked to baby’s development. So you should consider taking pre-natal vitamin if required after consulting with your doctor (gynec). Folic acid is one such thing.
Don’t take contraceptive pill or device you might be using – stop the birth control once you plan to get conceive. Your cycle must be different if you are on birth control pills.
Go for outing and movies, dinner with your partner – go for outing with your partner, enjoy each and every moment with him so that you won’t feel so deprived when the baby arrives. Enjoy watching movies in big screens and dinner would be perfect time to spend.
Enjoy luxury sleep – get good sleep, and nap whenever you can. Its next to impossible to get good night’s rest because of the heartburn, or bathroom visits, with your growing belly.
Plan your finances sorted out – if you haven’t planned your savings yet, then it’s time to do so. You will have lot of expenses coming through.
Go for baby moon – don’t know what ‘babymoon’ is? It’s a holiday you take with your partner before baby arrives. Plan a trip before you are too pregnant to fly.
Go to the dentist – it may seem totally unrelated to fertility, more and more research links oral health and healthy pregnancy. Hormonal changes during pregnancy can also lead to gum disease, bleeding, swelling when you brush or floss.
Stop buying clothes – those skinny jeans and nicely fitted won’t fit you within a couple of months later. Anyway you have to buy maternity clothes in the second trimester.
